The deafblind helpbook: practical advice & information for those who support deafblind people. This excellent work deserves a wide readership. As a deafblind individual (due to Usher Syndrome Type 3A), I found this book to be superb on so many levels - gracefully written, wickedly humorous, and quite educational.
The author is especially skillful at showing (rather than just telling) what it is like to be deafblind/5(). One thing is going blind, but losing your hearing at the same time can make life extra challenging.
We first published the deafblind helpbook book title in in Copenhagen, when a deafblind married couple joined the local book depot courtesy of the local association for the deafblind.
